Our Deep Craft Atelier pop-up store project opened last week at Storefront Lab, with the first public sale on Saturday. We spent a convivial day fielding questions, selling goods and entertaining the curious, many of whom peeked in while we were setting up shop over the course of the week.
Yvonne Mouser of Thought for Food vends a refreshing variety of ‘surf pops’.
Sales peaked between 2-4 pm when Thought for Food sold their delicious handmade ‘surf pops’, which they vended from shoulder-strapped ice boxes. Flavors were divided into three categories, each with their own distinct flavors:
Sun – Mango, Habanero, Lime
Sand – Almond, Black Sesame, Caramel
Sea – Cucumber, Mint, Vanilla
The day was topped off with an opening party celebrating the kick-off of Storefront Lab, hosted by David Baker and Yosh Asato, founders of Storefront Lab.
